Taekwondo Medals and Dreams of Nationals. Our Taekwondo Club Dominates the Victorian Taekwondo Stage

There’s something magical about tournament day. The determination in the air. The thud of feet kicking pads. The crowd holding their breath between every roundhouse and back kick. On Sunday July 27th, at this year’s Victorian Taekwondo Championships National Selection Round, that magic belonged—undeniably—to our taekwondo club. Our Mozhdeh Martial Arts team showed up and showed out, walking away with a staggering seven gold taekwondo medals and a silver that shone just as brightly. It was a great day. 

What happened at the Victorian Taekwondo Championships?

Let me paint the scene: the best in Victorian taekwondo gathered to fight for taekwondo medals and with that, a spot in the National Championships later this year. The stakes were high, and the pressure? Even higher. But the fighters from our taekwondo club rose to the challenge like pros.

Coach Behnaz doesn’t just teach technique—she fosters the confidence of all athletes at our taekwondo club. She shows us how to stand tall after a loss and stay humble after many taekwondo medals.
